Ingredients
- 2 (16-ounce) cans peaches in heavy syrup
- 1 (15.25-ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, cut into small pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- vanilla ice cream, optional, to taste, for serving
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 -Pour the peaches and their syrup in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Step 3 -Cover the peaches with the dry cake mix and press down on it firmly.
Step 4 -Scatter the butter pieces on top of the cake mix.
Step 5 -Sprinkle the butter with the cinnamon.
Step 6 -Bake the cake until it is golden-brown, about 45 minutes.
Step 7 -Serve with the vanilla ice cream.
