Auntie's Christmas Ambrosia Salad is as traditional as fruitcake or a Christmas ham, and no less welcome at our table! The creamy, tangy, fruit-packed dessert always manages to make friends and family smile. A few sugary and fluffy clouds of marshmallows mixed in only add to the dreaminess of Auntie's Christmas Ambrosia Salad. Thanks, Auntie, for sharing this brilliant dessert with all of us!
Ingredients
- 3 (20-ounce) cans pineapple tidbits, drained
- 4 (15-ounce) cans mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 (16-ounce) container sour cream
- 1 (10.5-ounce) package miniature marshmallows
- 3/4 cup coconut, shredded
Directions
Step 1 -In a large bowl, add all the ingredients and stir to combine.
Step 2 -Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate until the flavors meld together, at least 2 hours and up to overnight.
Step 3 -Serve.
