The meatballs are deliciously tender and savory, coated in a spicy, buttery, sweet, and even a little fruity sauce unlike any other! Let the slow cooker make your snack for you rather than you slaving over the stove! Ultimate Chicken Meatballs taste like the best because they are the best!
Ingredients
- 1 (28-ounce) package frozen chicken meatballs
- 1/4 cup Buffalo sauce, store-bought or homemade
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup peach preserves
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- parsley, optional, to taste, chopped, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 -In a 6-quart slow cooker, add the meatballs.
Step 2 -In a small bowl, add the Buffalo sauce, the honey, the peach preserves, and the chicken broth and whisk to combine.
Step 3 -Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs.
Step 4 -Cover the slow cooker and cook on low until the meatballs are cooked through, about 4 hours.
Step 5 -In a small bowl, add the cornstarch and the water and whisk until the cornstarch is completely dissolved.
Step 6 -During the last hour of cooking time, add the slurry to the meatball mixture and stir to combine.
Step 7 -Serve garnished with the parsley.
