Imagine you're sitting on a marvelous deck overlooking the peacefully, crashing waves. The wind is blowing your hair ever so slightly and you breathe in the salty, warm air. Ah. That is paradise. Whether you're physically there or only there via a mental vacation, this Seaside Shrimp Bake will definitely add to the coastal dream you're experiencing. The thin and tasty angel hair pasta twirled around your fork, and nestled around some fresh broccoli and plump, tropical shrimp, will have you swimming with delight. And speaking of swimming, we can't forget the creamy, rich, and cheesy Alfredo sauce it's all wading in. So, the next time you need your oceanside fantasy to come to life, Seaside Shrimp Bake will bring it to you... no matter where you are!
Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) package angel hair pasta
- 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined, slightly thawed (if frozen)
- 2 cups broccoli, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups Alfredo sauce
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 -Grease a 2-quart casserole dish with cooking spray.
Step 3 -Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
Step 4 -Cook the angel hair pasta in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until it is tender yet firm to the bite, about 4-5 minutes.
Step 5 -Drain the pasta.
Step 6 -Cook and stir the shrimp in a skillet over medium heat until they are slightly pink, about 3-5 minutes.
Step 7 -Add the broccoli to the shrimp, cover the skillet, and let the broccoli steam until tender, about 5 minutes.
Step 8 -Transfer the skillet from the heat.
Step 9 -Spread the angel hair pasta over the bottom of the prepared baking dish and top with the shrimp and the broccoli.
Step 10 -Pour the Alfredo sauce over the shrimp mixture and top with the parmesan cheese.
Step 11 -Bake the shrimp mixture until the cheese is slightly browned, about 20 minutes.
Step 12 -Transfer the bake from the oven and serve.
